The same catalogue shows a range of travel goods bearing the Bentley Motors Insignia. These cases have been made for Bentley by Dunhill, Swain Adeney & Brigg who have the Royal Warrant as luggage makers to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and others.
Whilst these are no longer supplied by Bentley or the dealers, some are still available.

Some ten years ago, Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motors in Crewe offered in their Gift Collection brochure ( no. TSD 5666 ) a very fine
wicker Rolls-Royce picnic basket commissioned by them from Gadsby & Co. who have been manufacturers of English willow hampers
for 200 years.
The tableware is fine English bone China with gold hand applied decoration, the knives and the flask carry the company insignia that is found on the tableware.

Employees who completed 25 years service with Rolls-Royce used to receive from the company a nice ashtray, a red book about the history of the company and an invitation to a
presentation ceremony.
It is no longer thought appropriates to give an ashtray as a reward but they were a nice piece treasured by recipients and families. Occasionally, one becomes available like the one shown, sometimes they even crop up without the individual’s name.

In 1988 Rolls-Royce and Bentley Motors had great celebrations of 50 years of the factory. Employees were given these large tin lapel badges, tea / coffee mugs, frizzbies,

You will see that there are pockets on two sides and that the lining will remove for cleaning or to allow ice blocks to be put in without touching the contents. Spotless condition. Rescued from the Crewe R-R & Bentley factory about 12 years ago ! When VW acquired the plant to continuing and developing the Bentley marque, they were not impressed by the smelly old boxes that they found in the Tool Stores. These are antique tool stores combtailed construction wooden boxes, approximately 12 inches / 300 mm long. The ones shown are from my own workshop and they have been given a light clean with spirit and then teak oil. The Rolls-Royce and Bentley factory was built in 1938 to provide Merlin engines for the Spitfire aircraft which were hastily being built in anticipation of war. They were made by Nottingham Mills in nearby Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood’s stomping ground ! They smell wonderfully of an engineering workshop !
They look better with a light coat of teak oil. These would be very nice on the desk, in the den, workshop or boot of the motor car.
